Volvo
FH 12/16 2-axle truck tractor variant since year of construction
2002
For
decades the Volvo Globetrotter has been playing a leading role within
the section of comfortable long distance truck tractors. In autumn
1993 the FH series was introduced which was replaced by the next
generation in the year 2002 impressing with outstanding design characteristics.
With the enlarged high roof Volvo now offers four different types
of cabs to meet all requirements for the long distance traffic.
The characteristic
styling perfected in countless aerodynamic tests is highly pleasing
and has been expertly converted to model size by ScaleArt. After
the TG-A XXL model this is now the third vehicle to enrich our range
of models as an attractive alternative to the MAN TGA for our many
Volvo fans.
Meanwhile having
been sold and the quality being tested by our customers many times,
these models are only made from superior materials comprising amongst
others:
- Chassis with
all cross beams made of stainless steel and using miniature model
screws
- Functioning
axle suspension systems as near to the original as possible
- Aluminium
rims turned from solid material
- Bronze cast
front axle
- All typical
Volvo frame accessories
- Driver's
cab complete with interior furnishing and functioning doors
- All name
plates and door steps of photo etched stainless steel
These models
are equipped with a cab tilting mechanism allowing tilting and removal
of the cab. Subsequent installation of drive and lighting techniques
is possible for all models. All electronic components are seated
underneath the cab. No cables etc. obstruct the view inside even
when the doors are opened, a feature which we like to emphasize.
Complete model
kits are available for immediate delivery including detailed assembly
instructions and necessary tools.
